Garland Ranch Regional Park

Trail-Garland-Park

This park is 4400 acres with breathtaking views of the Santa Lucia Mountains and Carmel Valley. Garland Ranch Regional Park is only 2 miles from Contenta Inn and is ideal for hiking, mountain-bike riding and horseback riding.

Notable features at Garland Ranch Regional Park include the Carmel River, Garzas Creek, a redwood canyon and a charming waterfall. Throughout the park there are reminders of Carmel Valley’s past: Rumsen Indian habitation sites; homestead, hunting and logging remains; livestock trails, ponds and springs; and Rancho Don Juan.

There is a small visitor center that is staffed by volunteers.

Visit their website for more information and trail maps.
